Big Day of Giving – Thursday, May 1, 2025

Starting April 17th

We kick off our 2025-26 fundraising season with our annual Big Day of Giving on Thursday, May 1.

The Big Day of Giving (BDOG) is a 24-hour online donation event for the Sacramento Region that will run from 12am to midnight on Thursday, May 1. We are pleased to announce that this year’s matching fund has grown to $26,000. Your donations have double the impact as the first $26,000 in donations to the Folsom Lake Symphony will be matched 1 for 1.

Our mission to inspire and build community through our symphonic music can be realized with your support. Funds will be used to support the symphony operations and augment our community enrichment programs. Community enrichment programs include two free outdoor concerts, bringing music into to our schools, senior activity programs, Family Concert and Instrument Petting Zoo, and our Young Artist Competition.

Not around on May 1? Early donations can be made starting on Thursday, April 17 and your early donations will also be matched. Also, if you make your donation using a Golden 1 Credit Union card, Golden 1 will partially match your donation.

Special thanks to our matching fund donors and season subscribers Art and Linda Grix, James and Marilyn McCurdy, and Bob and Gail Stroh. Their ongoing support of our Big Day of Giving matching fund and of the Folsom Lake Symphony is greatly appreciated.
