Sabine Klein recently started playing viola and enjoys relearning a bowed instrument. She played violin through college and was a member of the Pittsburgh Youth Symphony, the Carnegie Mellon Philharmonic and I Solisti d’Oakland, a conductor-less chamber orchestra.
In graduate school, she focused on piano, performing in a variety of large and small ensemble settings. She received degrees in piano and piano/chamber music from Carnegie Mellon University and the Mozarteum Salzburg and has since been working as full-time pianist for the Norwegian National Opera and the University of the Pacific.
